The burner is an important component in gas equipment. To evaluate whether the design of a burner is ideal, different standards are required from different perspectives. Generally, the following aspects can be examined:

① The burner meets the required heat or combustion temperature for heating and has a certain thermal load; (There are many types of gas, mainly natural gas, liquefied gas, urban gas, low calorific value gas, as well as yellow phosphorus tail gas, biogas, etc.)

② The burner has certain flame characteristics, such as flame size and shape (flat flame, long flame, short flame), and meets the process requirements;

③ During the combustion process of the burner, the flame is stable and has a certain degree of wind resistance;

④ High combustion efficiency, the gas can be completely burned and the heat released by the gas can be fully utilized (regulated by valves such as JGK air fuel ratio valve);

⑤ The burner is equipped with necessary automatic adjustment and automatic safety devices;

⑥ Less toxic substances in the flue gas after combustion of the burner (sufficient combustion and tail gas treatment)

⑦ The burner has a compact structure, safety and reliability, and low cost.

In fact, whether a burner can perform its best function is not only determined by the burner itself, but also by other factors such as gas source composition and heat exchange equipment. For example, if the heat exchanger is not designed or installed properly, the heat emitted by the burner cannot be fully utilized, resulting in low thermal efficiency. If the smoke exhaust device is poor, it is difficult to maintain good combustion conditions, and the hygiene conditions cannot meet the requirements. Therefore, the performance of the burner must be comprehensively considered in conjunction with various conditions to achieve the overall ideal working condition.
