Product presentation

Asphalt-based soft felt is a high-performance thermal insulation material manufactured through needle-punching and hot-pressing processes using asphalt-based carbon fibers. It inherits the inherent advantages of asphalt-based carbon fibers, including high strength, high modulus, and chemical corrosion resistance, and is widely used as insulation in high-temperature equipment such as photovoltaic systems, semiconductor manufacturing, and vacuum heat treatment. When subjected to high-temperature treatment (above 2000°C) in a vacuum or inert atmosphere, it transforms into graphite felt, achieving a carbon content exceeding 99% compared to carbon felt.

Product Features

It has low bulk density, excellent heat resistance, uniform texture, easy to install and process, and can be widely used as thermal insulation material in high temperature furnace.

Product use

It is widely used in the semiconductor monocrystalline silicon industry, the artificial crystal industry, the optical fiber industry, high-end vacuum sintering furnace, heat treatment furnace and other industries.
